It was EXACTLY the course I had been looking for, for over 5 years.

I am a graphic designer by trade, and self-taught in web development. All the courses I found were aimed at designers with no coding experience or for people who wanted to become full stack developers—there was no middle ground for inquisitive designers who love to learn, but also want to be able to put their skills to practice in their day job.

I would avoid more creative designs because I didn’t feel confident that I would be able to build them on Squarespace. Taking the course definitely gave me the development skills I needed to make my really creative designs actually happen, and also taught me how to do it the right way so that I was not causing problems for my clients’ SEO, accessibility or their ability to update the site. Instead of creating designs and thinking, I’m going to cross my fingers and hope I can make this happen. I now know exactly how I’m going to make everything happen in Squarespace.
